Fundraiser's

To celebrate 50 years we hope to create a unique area in front of the school that will be the symbol for freedom, solid direction and unlimited education. To do this we need to raise money for this year long project. We hope that the community will participate in many of our fundraisers.

The "FUNdraisers"

Here are some of the items we have used in our fundraising.

In the beginning of the school year, the students wanted to be COOL for their school. They purchased these blue wristbands inscribed with “LSS 1955-2005” .

Then we had fun with, “Look Out They're Coming!.” A Goldie Hag Witch visited all the classrooms . Her visit sparked a new campaign for the glow in the dark wristbands that said “Glow for the Gold”.

What’s in your Fortune?

A Huge Success!!

To raise money for Lincoln Street School’s 50th anniversary celebration we sold fortune cookies for $.50 each. Every fortune cookie had a message in it that gave out prizes. It all depended on the message inside.

Children won prizes like an extra recess, or a pencil, lunch on the stage, an extra recess or some even get a golden ticket cookie with a chance for a free homework pass, or maybe a special lunch, or a draw out of the library treasure box.

Everyone was a winner!!

There are many more fundraisers that we will add as the year goes so on. Keep an eye out as we put the “FUN in fundraisers.
