General Information

Located in Seacoast, NH, Exeter, NH is a vibrant community. Exeter was founded in the early 1600s and has played an important part in the history of New Hampshire.  It also is the home of Phillips Exeter Academy. The community values and expects quality education from its schools. The Exeter schools are committed to empowering all students to achieve their best.

Students in grades Kindergarten – Grade 2 are housed at the Main Street School. This nurturing school is well-known for its commitment to ensure that all students begin their educational experience in a facility where the entire staff values and respects each learner. The Exeter Developmental Preschool is also a part of Main Street School, although it is housed a few blocks away. This preschool is for students who have special educational needs.

Lincoln Street School serves Exeter students in grades 3-5. The same quality of education and respect for learners that identifies Main St., is extended at Lincoln St. as early learners acquire the skills they will need when the move to the Exeter Cooperative Middle School.
