What We Do

Here at the Main Street Elementary School, we provide speech and language services to all eligible students. In addition to direct services to students, we provide services to entire classrooms and consultation to staff. Students can be referred by their parents and/or teachers or by the Special Education Evaluation Team.

Our service delivery model is linked to our Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade curriculums. We also assist in providing a weekly phonology program to Kindergarten students. Through consultation and team teaching with staff members, we strive to provide support which will lead to classroom success.

The following is an overview of our service delivery model. As this web page evolves, we will add more information and examples regarding specific skills and strategies.
