Star of the Day: Every child will have several turns at being “Star of the Day.” When it is your child’s turn to be Star of the day they will be our line leader. They will bring home Clifford the Big Red Dog. Clifford travels with a Journal. We ask parents or children (when able) to write a short message telling about Clifford’s adventures during his visit to your house. PLEASE make sure to return Clifford the next school day. We do have a few extra Cliffords in the event that he gets left at home accidentally.

Whenever possible we will be spending up to 25 minutes before the start of Kindergarten to play. Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately. In order to foster independence, select coats and boots that your child can handle with the least amount of adult assistance. Please use nametags on all articles of clothing.

There are many ways to help prepare your child for Kindergarten. We feel that the best way is by reading to your child daily!

Each month your child will receive a monthly homework calendar filled with quick and easy activities that you can do with your child! These activities often correlate and reinforce the skills that we are working on in school. |
