Hello, my name is Adele Robertson (formerly Ms. Russman), and I am the school counselor at Lincoln Street School. For twenty-seven years I have enjoyed working with children of all ages. I think I have the best job at Lincoln Street School because I have the opportunity to listen to children, teachers and parents. We work together to come up with solutions to problems that sometimes make people sad, angry, or confused. My hope is to make students and parents feel good about themselves. Some of the things I do are: run small lunch groups for children who have experienced a divorce or a death; help students with issues surrounding organization, friendship, and family concerns; and provide suggestions to parents that support learning. My ultimate goal is to make children feel happier and more successful both at home and at school.
