Instrumental Needs

Flute players need to have a cleaning cloth to wipe down the instrument after playing, and to swab out the instrument. (A gentleman's handkerchief works very well, and fits nicely inside the case.)

Clarinet players need to have at least 2 playable reeds (size 2) at all times, as well as cork grease and a swab for cleaning out the instrument. (Please consider purchasing a cloth swab as it will last virtually forever).

Saxophone players need to have at least 2 playable reeds (size 2) at all times, and cork grease. It is also a good idea to acquire a sax swab to clean out the instrument after playing.

Trumpet players should always have valve oil and tuning slide grease.

Trombone players should always have either slide oil or cream and tuning slide grease.

Percussion players who have a difficult time carrying their instrument should consider purchasing a folding luggage cart to wheel it around.
